Its annoying that camille can ult me, i delete her in 2 seconds and im still trapped in her arena and pretty much a sitting duck forced to watch as the rest of her team close in and kill me.
Agreed. Camille's Hextech Ultimatum is predicated on her forcing a duel with the chosen target. There ought to be no consolation for her if she loses a fight she starts. In keeping with her thematic as a methodical duelist of sorts, I feel that Camille should never receive a free assist if she miscalculates with her ult and gets herself killed. Sure, one could definetely argue it is meant to discourage pesky tower dives. And that is quite valid. However, I disagree that the feature should stay, namely because of those insufferable times when Camille misplays and still nets her team a free kill, despite having already bought the farm. I'd argue that avoiding situations like these is worth more than her "nuclear deterence", if you will.
TLDR: If she makes her bed, she'd best lie in it.
Yeah, played a game as Akali mid vs Camille yesterday. Camille ulted me, I burst her down within 1 second. Now I'm sitting at 1/4 health with 3 seconds to go, feet from my tower, and the enemy Rengar saunters into lane, casually walks up to me and kills me since I can't run.
Kind of frustrating.
Her ult is fine and it gives her some presence in a team fight, even if she dies, so I have no issue with it remaining how it is. She has a lot of things going on right now, and I feel like her ult is at the bottom of the list in terms of adjustments. If her shield and Q2 damage gets modified, and possibly her E range, this will be enough to pull her down a bit, and nerfing the ult may put her in an overly weak state. All things considered, Camille isn't terribly OP at the moment, unlike some launch champs in the past coughCertainlyTcough, and only a few nerfs will put her in line. The boards, though, seem very intent on a full blown witch hunt and execution.

Personally I can't win because if the Camille has the tiniest semblance of mechanics i'm dead to her 7k HP shield and 100% true damage titanic/Triforce Active proc by the time her double malphite ult range stun wears off...

The idea is that you aren't supposed to kill her ever, why would her developers make it so you can escape if you manage to?

I'd have to agree. Chomped her down mid lane early on with voli, 3/4's health left but her ult had me trapped in turret range. Took 4 turret shots and she got the shut down. Such skill.
It does make sense that if she "dies" she has "left the arena". I don't think this is a particularly meaningful thing to complain about and it doesn't really bother me but I certainly agree that it makes sense for her ult to end if eh dies.

But if it doesn't it can't work as an anti-dive tool.
But her body hasn't left the zone.
Get redemption item and when you use ult make support use redemption that heals for crap ton and does more true dmg.
