What should Riot do?

I don't really post here much... But uh, I've seen a lot, I mean a LOT of complaining about the state of the game in the recent months, and y'know, I guess I can't really blame anyone for that. I haven't been too exposed however to the whole weakest link trend that's been making its appearance here on the boards, so it's not quite like I can relate to the problem.

So my question is this. If you have a problem with the state of the game, what should Riot, in your opinion, do to fix it? This is a question mainly aimed at vets of the game, but anyone is free to leave a response.

And simply saying to revert the system or anything like that doesn't count, because that's another way of just not answering the question.

This isn't a post disagreeing with people that say the game is being ruined, but in everyone's posts all I see is the complaint and no attempt at offering solutions (With exceptions to the ones that bother to).

So... What should Riot do?

You can't make everyone happy. Most bitch and moan about their mains. Many bitch and moan just to bitch and moan. Those of us who wish to play the game overcome and adapt. It's really that simple. This is not news because this same stuff happens in every single game ever made that requires updates by the developers. I personally trust that those who made the game to know more about their game than anyone who bitches and moans about the game.

RIOT needs a ton of work done on their punishment system. It has got to be the worst thing in the existence of gaming. The Tribunal was much better because as subjective as it might have been, it allowed the players to police themselves. Now we have an automated system that pretty much only catches chat toxicity and in turn that person makes a new account when banned over and over again. The feeders and trolls have been allowed to run rampant where the Tribunal would catch alot of those despicable human beings.

Basically, RIOT, has encouraged more toxicity with this new horseshit system.

You can't please everyone. If Riot caves to these people, another subgroup will rise & demand they get equal treatment to their complaints. This generation likes to use the mob mentality to try to prove they're right and get their way. They don't REALLY know how to fix the problem, they only THINK they do. Bottom line, people will always find a crutch/excuse to lean on and blame when things don't go their way... they don't want to get better at the game, they just want everything to be easier for them. People expect the gov't (Riot overlords) to give them what they want, when they want it, instead of working hard to overcome challenges. "This champ has no outplay" when clearly they played that particular situation horribly. Every gaming community has unhappy players who all have their own idea of how the game should be balanced/maintained...how many are really skilled enough to give a high-end analysis? How many have studied game design? I promise you, there will ALWAYS be something on the boards they complain about. If it's not one thing, it's another. Is this how we are supposed to deal with life problems? Just be glass half-empty, angry, demanding? I love games but sometimes, a lot of times, gaming communities just suck. Games are supposed to be fun and the nature of MOBA is PvP and teamwork, which I assume people just don't have the life skills for in this game. Even here on the boards there is toxicity, people will argue if they disagree with you, take things too personally when you don't even mean to be attacking anybody. LoL community itself is more interested in "protesting" and hashtagging (in a sense) than actually fixing the problems or playing the game to have fun. Prove me wrong.
