I can't understand how anyone can see Cowsep play and conclude that Master Yi takes no skill. A bad Yi will die trying to 1v2 out in the open. A good Yi like Cowsep will 1v3 you under your tower, get all 3 kills, and then get out afterwards.

I disagree. He's got some high skill mechanics like proper use of Alpha Strike to dodge skillshots and/or gap close, proper time to jump in to clear up a teamfight, and proper use of Meditate to reset basic attacks and/or reduce incoming damage. He also needs to know the correct build path for the situation, there are a decent amount of items that work on Master Yi.

Seriously, Master Yi is simply broken. Normally, most of the Champions has a weak point, but Master Yi? Of course not. You see a Master Yi, so you pick Champions with High CC but still, the Yi just need to buy item's that counter High CC and Jump when everyone ha used their CC ability's. I'm seriously thinking about a huge remake on this out dated champion. The most unskilled champion will certainly be the most skilled champion in League of Legends and I already have my idea's about it. We don't have to remove his Alpha Strike but instead, just adding difficulties on the usage.

a good master yi is a master yi that knows when to not pick master yi.

The key is don't build glass cannon. There's a reason the best item on Jax is Titanic Hydra, similarly a great item on Yi is Deadman's Plate.

I always wanted to git gud with Yi but for some reason my decision making with him is complete trash. Got a tough time getting familiar with his power curve.
