So I have been on many games where someone on my gets the "S" rank and here I am with no chest. I, myself, am NOT playing a champ that I have gotten an "S" with. Does this mean that in order for me to get it, not only do I need to play an "S"less champ but they do too?
Pixiehorse3 votesYour only allowed 4 chests per month. Look at your champ section any champs that have gotten chests have a chest border. Also on your summoner page it says how many chests you can get left.
Also the person getting an S has to be in your pre-made group, not just on your team.

Incorrect. I get notifs saying that 'Either you or someone on your team has achieved an S rating. Chest awarded!'...Then it'll proclaim the S's you got on your team.

Amelie2 votesSorry, but they must have misunderstood or encountered a bug. You can't get chests from other people's S ranks unless you are pre-made with them. You do get notified if someone on your team got an S rank, but no chest is given to you... unless you got an S rank yourself.

When you or someone in your premade party earns any S rank, you’ll acquire a chest. You can earn up to four chests each month, and each champion you play can earn you one chest per season.
