Queueing For Secondary Roles Should Be Optional

I am being put through literal hell here. I'm a jungle main and, to be very honest, I suck at all other roles but support. I want to play jungle. That's it. That's the role that I have put the most money into, with skins that I like and champs that I'm trying to learn. So when I must queue as anything else, I either don't do well and bring the whole team down, or, well, I get lucky.

I've tried blind pick, and either someone always calls jg before I do, or I get and end up playing against some champions that honestly need to be reworked due to being significantly broken. I've tried practicing other roles, too. As I said, I'm a good jg and support, but if I queue for support, I almost never get jg, which is my CHOSEN MAIN role. It's what I want to play.

By forcing me to either blind pick or have to play another role, honestly, my gameplay experience is suffering hard. I have put enough money into this game that I think I should at least be able to enjoy it. I'm still confused as to why the queue system has changed so drastically after an absence I took a while back. So, I think myself and many others who are constantly forced to either beg to trade roles or be a burden on our teams when we could be doing so much better, would greatly appreciate it if you could pay us the small liberty of making secondary roles optional.

I play to have fun. And I have fun in the jungle, playing with and against teams that aren't full of overpowered, constantly banned champions.

Otherwise, thank you for making and maintaining a generally fun game.

Thing is, it used to be you got your role less then half the time and you used to have to know at least 3-4 roles. I think if they only had primary the queues would be even longer then they already are.

Side Note: if you set secondary as mid you will almost always get JG.

Completely agree.

The champ select simply doesn't put enough weight behind "primary" and "secondary" (if any?) to force selection of two roles.

Instead, allow a single role choice, or better make it a check box of the roles you can/will play for the next game.

Totally agree with you. I'm pretty certain the only reason Riot won't allow it is for Queue time reasons. Which is bullshit. I would wait 5 extra minutes if it meant playing ADC 100% of the time I wanted to.

How do you get "role" correct in the title, then wrong in every other instance?

Also, most jungle champions can be played top lane, so you might as well try queueing up for jungle/top and see how that goes.

So if you can pick only one role, queue times will be 40 minutes now instead of 20.

The fear of "longer Q times" is so strong that they'll probably not implement it.
