Can someone explain how demotion works
Some times I'll be at 0LP and lose about 3-5 games before I get demoted but I literally just went from 10-0LP then lost another game and got demoted. Is it based off performance or is it some rng shit.

what you deserve1 votesIf you just got promoted you get two free losses before you get demoted, but if you get promoted and win you don't get that protection.
Lord Ligma1 votesI got promoted but had won about 3 games and was around 50 LP then I took a nasty losing streak and had literally just hit zero but it's ok.
venomous frost1 votesit's based on MMR, LP doesn't matter per se (but 0LP means your mmr is too low most of the time)
