wouldn't it be more diverse to put adc's in other lanes?

Right now its adc's like tris on the sidelines in favor of heros who are being used in other lanes, like vlad, vlad has been used top and mid and now bot, thats cool! a champ used in 3 dif lanes!? thats great right, that is diverse!

So! Why cant we have that for tris and the others? That would be more diverse for sure! Why cant we make changes to adc's to let them go into other lanes? If adc's bot and only bot has been such a huge issue this should be a good thing!

It feels like people want to remove adc's from the game instead of actually making the game diverse and finding another lane for the characters like tris to go and thats really sad to me...

I can't imagine setting out to get a whole role that people enjoy removed from the game? That sounds so selfish, So i won't imagine that, ill take people at thier word that they want diversity, ok, you want diversity, its definitely more diverse to have adc's go to other lanes and be played than having them sit on the sidelanes! i would love to play tris in a solo lane.

Adc's play top lane, and it's a fucking unfun matchup for any melee user that has no way of truly getting onto them. Try playing any fighter top lane against Quinn, Kennen, Teemo, Vayne, Lucian, Jayce, etc, and you'll want to kill yourself.

Marksmen (besides what already works) would need a stronger early game to go to other lanes it's why they go to the duo lane.

If the get a stronger early game they become oppressive to alot of champs that can't deal with them.

because adc in solo lane is oppressive espcially top lane its just down right abusive if they actually try make ranged adcs top meta

u cry right now if its range at turret farming at range try melee farming vs range trading 60hp per minion autoattack no its dumb adcs are statchecks people seem to forget

There are currently a grand total of 22 marksmen, counting the ones that prefer other lanes. In bot lane, ever since season 3 the meta was one Marksmen+ 1 Support. So in total, bot lane had 37 champions in the role. In contrast, every other role was far more diverse, top could have Mage's, Assassins, Tanks or FIghter's, Mid could have several Marksmen, Supports, Mage's and Assassins. Jungle could have Tanks, Fighter's, Marksmen and Assassins.

Do you see the problem? The other lanes were already much more diverse than bot lane and already had marksmen in them. Even if you buffed the other marksmen like Miss Fortune, Jinx or Ezreal and made them more viable in other lanes, that really wouldn't compare. Your only adding maybe 8 champions to be playable in other roles where as with this change you opened up botlane to nearly triple the number of champions, Fighter's have 40 champions, mages have 31 and you can play a REALLY large amount of both of them bot lane, this isn't even counting tanks. The number's just don't compare man, i'm sorry.

That was a thing for awhile where like 8/10 roles were filled with adcs of some sort. Not sure it was a happy diversity party and more everyone who wasn't an adc felt bullied.

Getting stuff tuned appropriate for multiple lanes is super hard, especially when one is a duo lane.

As a Varus main I do wish I could play him somewhere else instead of a mess that is Bot Lane right now.

Literally played against an ADC Leblanc and Zed Support both with Ignite, I actually wanted to hang myself. Got oneshot at level 2 as expected.

They are already moving to other lanes. Graves is one of the best junglers in the game. Kindred is getting constant buffs to get there. Quinn is a serviceable top laner with good matchups against most solo q champions. Corki is getting buffs to his mid lane.

The main problem with marksmen bot is not that they can't be played elsewhere, it is that they are competing with bot lane to be the team's marksmen and marksmen are still pretty damn strong bot lane. Usually, picking a marksmen jungle means that you are devoting 2 of your team's 5 slots to just 1 of 7 archetypes which leads to a somewhat unbalanced team. That isn't to say it can't be done as many times have had success with more than 1 marksmen.

Sure why not, Jhin mid sounds awesome. Just keep in mind that it would take a Graves/Quin like rework for that to work in a healthy way, and that they might no longer be viable bot lane.

Also, most people who say this have a tendency to not understand individual champions. Most people wouldn't mind Jhin or Xayah mid because they're healthy champions with a decent skill cap. Tristana on the other hard is an unhealthy, brain dead champion on the level of Yi, Tryn and Malz. She should be a bottom tier bot laner in the first place.
