Has anyone else had an issue where you engage in a 1v1 fight in lane, and realizing you fudged up try to back off, you have 15 more movespeed you should be fine right? Wrong even with lower movespeed champs can follow me in a straight path and catch me to kill me

I was getting outrun by an irelia as shaco when I had boots and red buff and all she had was 2 dorans 10/10 probably shitty packet loss.
