Twitch Rework concept

The goals of this rework are the following:

  1. Increase Twitch's mastery curve by reducing his easily abusable strengths while rewarding those have mastered him.
  2. Better tie in his "Plague" theme
  3. Reduce some of the forgiving aspects of his kit.

Twitch Rework:Twitch

  • Passive: Plague carrier Twitch's basic attacks infect his targets with a stacking contagion that stacks up to 6 times and last 6 seconds. Twitch applies 2 stacks of his contagion against minions and monsters Whenever a unit receives a contagion stack they take 1/2/3/4 true damage plus an additional 1/2/3/4 true damage for each pre-existing contagion stack on that unit.

  • Q: Ambush After a 1 second delay Twitch becomes camouflaged for 5/7/9/11/13 seconds While stealthed Twitch gains 20% bonus movement speed Upon breaking stealth Twitch gains 30/35/40/45/50% bonus attack speed NOTE Twitch is revealed temporarily while within 800 units of a champion instead of the normal 700.

  • W: Debilitating illness Passive: Units infected with Twitch's contagion deal 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 less damage with attacks and abilities per contagion stack. Active: Twitch hurles a putrid cask in target direction colliding with the first enemy it hits applying 2 contagion stacks on them and then slowing them. Debilitating illness slows for 20/30/40/50/60%. The slow duration is 0.5 seconds (+0.25 seconds for each stack of contagion on the unit) If the unit has 4 or more contagion stacks on them they are grounded for the duration as well.

  • E: Expunge Twitch causes the contagions infecting his enemies to activate consuming the contagion but dealing massive internal damage. In order to activate a unit must have 6 contagion stacks. Consumes all contagion stacks on use and only affects units with 6 contagion stacks. Deals 110/160/210/260/310 (+ 140 % bonus AD)(+ 120% AP) physical damage and reduces the units armor by 10(+ 10% total armor) for 3 seconds.

  • R: Spray and Pray Passive: Whenever Twitch Kills an enemy his other Q and W cooldowns are reset. Active: Twitch closes his eyes and wildly fires his crossbow For 6 seconds Twitch gains 150 range 20/30/40 bonus AD and a piercing basic attack that deals 20% less damage to each enemy hit (down to a minimum of 50% damage).

Main nerfs in this proposed rework are the increased detection range and the reduced amount of bonus range his R gives him (down to 150 bonus range from 300). All other damage changes are more or less in line with his live state however his E does deal greater base damage as it needs some investment to reach the payoff and therefore should have a greater impact.

Let me know what you think of my ideas and of Twitches current place in the meta as a whole.

So W is a line skillshot? Sounds like he'll have to auto a lot more, which isn't inherently bad, but it can be for wave-clearing, at least until he buys item 3085

1 second into Stealth sound incredibly strong, especially if it works in-combat.
