AD assassin item: Blade of The Ruined... Queen?

dangopee··3 votes·916 views

3300g Builds out of Bilgewater and Brutalizer. 60AD 10% LS 10% CDR 20 APEN Same or similar active to BotRK. Unique Passive: "Ruin" - Basic attacks against CHAMPIONS deal 10% of champions MISSING health on hit.

Also give BotRK passive the same name "Ruin" so the on hit effect does not stack with King on hit. So you wouldn't buy both items.

EDIT: Well nvm I guess we all hate assassins and assassin metas. Just ignore me.

Then who is the ruined king?

Another sexual innuendo. But nobody mocks a king.

60 ad and armor pen? get out of here. haha. i used to have similar thoughts until I saw how strong armor pen. for perspective, ghostblade gives 20 armor pen and only 30 ad. granted its much cheaper, but ghostblade itself is a massive spike vs squishies. imagine doubling its AD and giving it other stats.

Meanwhile AP assassins get to build multiple 15 magic pen items while being harder to itemize against. Why can shouldn't AD assassins get to burst as hard as AP ones? Why do you hate Talon?

at most ap mages get around 38 magic pen (50 if they go full magic pen, which no one does ever) and 39% pen from void staff/masteries. this is very very late game usually and when mages should thrive.

Ad assasins can get with running full armor pen at 19 from runes, or even 12. and then get 20 from ghost blade in addition to 39% from last whisper/masteries. 32 armor pen, and they can technically get 42 if they feel like building another brutalizer for no reason at all after they complete ghostblade. reality is, the numbers don't seem to make sense, but armor pen is way more valuable than magic pen.

it scales with your auto attacks which means while a bit more armor pen would help assassins, ranged people could abuse items ridiculously. think of lucian/graves with 60 armor pen total. 12 from runes, 20 ghostblade, 20 this item, and 39% on top of that? your autos vs squishies are damn near going to be dealing true damage at that point. thats ridiculous.

Well I'm not saying it has to be 20 pen. I just pulled that from Ghostblade. It can be 10 pen and maybe just up the passive damage to like 12% missing or just increase the AD.

I don't see it as a good item because you get no attack speed from it. The passive won't be nearly as effective as it should be because you get no attack speed from it. I only see this item as a mixed version of ghost blade/bork and I don't think any champion will have maximum effectiveness with this item. Change the passive to something else like a damage amplifier will be a lot better.

To be fair, if it's intended for AD assassins it doesn't need attack speed.

The passive, I believe, is to finish off someone after a combo with one last autoattack, with for AD assassins is going to hurt more than an AP champion. It's like Zed's passive.

For AD assassins, you only get to auto once or twice for a full combo burst,10%of missing health isn't a lot so the passive is fairly useless. But I think this item will make Riven more OP.
