How to deal with horrible supports in Solo Queue?

How do I deal with them? A lot of supports (or ADC's if you're playing support) are either 1. Toxic as Flamingo's and argue with the ally and opposing team or 2. Want's to play Aggro all the time which causes you to die once they feed the enemy or leave you in a 1v2 or 3. Doesn't know a thing of what they're doing because they picked support for less queue times or first timed Nami because of worlds or even 4. All of the above. I know there's a lot more things that could make up a bad support (or ADC) such as ward (although this is the teams job not just the support), help with minions under turret, help poke and not to go in with a missed skillshot (ie. Nami bubble) but I want to know how to deal with it. If I try to play passive their are supports that go full aggro without me, if I go aggro alongside them they usually will just engage at horrible times where they get a double kill and not just a single kill, it's just so frustrating looking at a less competent enemy who is getting fed not because of you but because of your support.

Now to organised what I'm trying to say.. How do I deal with what a subpar Support does? Is there any way that I should play? Some secret to keep them from spamming all chat? Please help me out.

Mute, play your best and fokus. Simple. Remember, you cant change how your teammates play, but you can change how you play. You need to learn to make the right decisions in lane as adc, if your support makes a suicide move, let him die. Is he doing a good play? You can follow. You should never follow a play you dont feel like its worth it but if you do and it doesnt work out, you are to blame as well. I played a lot of adc recently and what I have learned is that if your support is a bonobo you just have to play better then the enemy botlane yourself. Its possible to turn tides if your support is overextending and the enemies make missplays, if thats not happening ill just let my supp die, farm up and with a ~2 item powerspike an adc can carry himself without relying on his support anymore, at least in my games I feel like just because I play better then the enemy adc it doesnt really matter if my supp suicided twice in laning against him, I still tend to be more impactful midgame. Also cull is op if you can hold to it without dying, try using it.

Well I mean I do get good supports a lot as well but I'm just stumped whenever I have a bad one. (An average one is well average and is pretty good still)

yeah, there's a large difference between supports and support mains. supports are people that didn't get the lane that they wanted and supp is all thats left. supp mains ( like me) choose support and fill for their lanes CX also non supports that play supports are used to the arry mentality so they try to carry themselves rather that focusing full attention on their adc

yeah, i almost never play adc and im usually a support. the game link i showed you, they had soraka sup, and they we're terrible, kept missing their e and q, not building exactly support etc, meanwhile on our team... i did as much as possible to keep kindred alive*(shields, heals, silences/roots etc) i'm surprised i even got a kill that game!

Remember that you will get them very often, so it's not worth worrying about the fact that these shitters exist.

You can either 1) pick less ally reliant champs so if you don't get peels, you're not completely done for, or 2) focus just on yourself and learn to work around them.

If they are going aggro and/or playing too dangerously, some ADCs/supports work better when they react to allies' bad plays and turn fights around. If they are playing too passively, learn to adapt, because chances are, they will not go in/follow up. Of course all that is based on your own judgment, but it's a lot about adapting to whoever you are working with, because obviously, not every non-premade will play in a playstyle you like. In fact, many ADC/support mains were able to climb on their own because of how adaptable they are to different kinds of lane partners.

Whiny and/or toxic players? Forget about them, if a player is bad and makes shitty comments, why listen to them if their opinions are gonna be shit? Not worth soaking that terrible opinion up.

Oh, and if you think you are in danger, you got a few wards with you. Use them!

The same way you deal with horrible anyone in solo queue, you put on your grown-ass man-pants and you carry... or die tryin. Also, the mute button is your friend.

I am not a support main, but I am good enough with support to play ranked games in Gold and feel like a relevant contributor to the outcome of the game. Most silver support mains are still not that good in general (just at the game) and you are playing with a mixed bag of player talent in Silver.

Supports largely dictate the bottom lane. If your support is not that good then you need to tell them that you want to play passively and farm once you realize they are not good. If you realize they are pretty decent and make good decisions, then you need to follow them up 100% of the time. Often how they posture themselves in lane is indicative of their talent.

I was a terrible support when I first started playing the game, but I didn't really understand the role and thought it would be simpler than other roles because I didn't have too be concerned with last hitting minions.

Playing support "adequately" is not too difficult, but playing support "decent more often than not" is a lot harder.

The same question can be flipped too "how do you play with a bad adc as a support?"

When I play support I will get to level 6 and simply leave them. If they are really bad and make multiple poor judgement calls, they are probably getting me killed along with themselves and I can't help them too much. Hyper aggressive ADCs that have already died once early are pretty much the worst to lane with because they will often keep trying to pick bad fights.

You can do the same thing with your support, simple leave them and go where your team needs you. Usually giving up the tower to end laning phase is the best way to stop them from feeding.

You may also want to pick a champion that is more self reliant in laning phase if you are worried about your support. You play a lot of Jinx lately, but she is heavily reliant on the play of the support. Tristana Lucian Ezreal are all champions that can pretty much "save themselves" if the situation calls for it.

I've been thinking of getting Ezreal and Lucian for a while now but they're both so expensive 😭 As for trist, I just enjoy jinx a lot more

i'm a support main, and your support is terrible I reccomend giving some pointers(in a non rude way) if they don't listen then they're probably the people that didn't want support but they got the last pick
