Jhin had one of the best releases ever IMO
I don't know, just thought I'd put that out there. I think it'd be really good reference to all upcoming releases. The animations, the steps taken, the art form were all so nicely done

The only problem was that his teasers were drawn out a bit too much. They started teasing him in 2015 and then revealed him in january 2016 and finally released him in febuary 2016. So it was over a month from his teaser til his release,which is waay too long in my opinion.
Aurelion Sol one was also incredibly well made.
Jinx is my favorite, she literally had a music video for herself
Also from Bard to Kindred riot made some really cool stuff for releases, I remember Tahm had the song that played in the river and I think Kindred had something like that too.
Nothing has even come close to the hype that was 
in my opinion. Not only was the teasers for the cinematic, and the cinematic itself, very well done but the comic was just heart wrenching. Before the cinematic release every thread was theory crafting how he ties in to 
, whether he'd have a connection to 
, and even going so far as to question if he was 
's son.
Only problem is, that he was basically the sombré of leauge, there was a ton of hype for him, if riot did that again, everyone would say they're out of ideas
Nothing will ever compare to the LEGENDARY release of Volibear... Not because of his Sneak Peek, but everything BEFORE that.
And by "Everything", I mean: The Riot Wars.
Sure, it had nothing to do with the lore or anything and it was a weird thing created by the Forums, but it was the best part of it: No one expected that the Riot Wars were ACTUALLY the omen of a new champion, the beginning of a new era, the birth of the armored bear.
He was miles away from "generic hooker babe", that's for sure.
I agree, that is a large part of why i became a jhin main. The buildup was insane but the payoff was amazing, when he was finally revealed he was so unique and interesting. Also my favorite number is 4 as well, lol.
Wasnt there yet for it, but it seemed really intriguing with her minigame and stuff.
