When should i abandon my tower

Simple question many answers. So say you are counter picked mid lets say, all you can do is stay under your tower and farm what you can, or mabye even back away from your tower, you cant do anything to get out of there. Slowly but surely your tower is getting poked away, jungler cant help hes in the bot lane constantly trying to help his friends and lets say top is well hes in the top lane. Do I keep with this strategy just doing what i can to farm and not die, I cant harass they have to much range on me, or should i go to another lane try and take a jungle camp or two mabye support my top laner ect and leave my tower to die?? Is it better to give turret first blood lose xp, gold, vision just so your not feeding??

its something you learn that will become logic. it will really diffrentiate between bad and good players. like its logical to leave towers when your 1v2 at bot lane and your turret is at 5% hp. its very damn logical. you will grow into it. a lot of people have no sense of game logic and never learn or grow into these things. but you should be able to tell after few months of playing this game if you don't well i can't really say anything to you. it should be instinctive not something you remember.

I wouldn't abandon tower unless you have to, and I would define 'have to' as if you'll die if you don't. Recognizing the latter situation is the tricky part for most players.

Ideally you don't get to the point where you can be turret dove, so most champs should be able to collect xp and cs scraps under tower without ending up feeding. Unfortunately people (particular people below gold) often don't realize that they're in a losing match up until they've been killed like 3+ times, and around that point it can be too late.

Every minions that are killed by your tower or minion wave give experience that can only be recovered by making a kill. On top of the extra damage your tower will take.

so unless you have a near 100% chance to make a kill in the time laps of a minute and come back to lane. Leaving is unlikely to be a good decision.
