Camille Jungle

I'm curious as to the reasoning behind the nerf back in 9.3 or whatever it was to take Camille out of the jungle? Why did they intend to just take her out, stick her in top, and then never see any play? I thought she was hella fun to play and I get that some parts of her kit were a little OP, but I feel like a lot of other junglers are broken too. Vi ult secures a kill just like hers and she got massive buffs to her jungle. Rek'sai was absolutely busted and is still strong. I feel like Camille's kit just better suits the jungle, but then they decide to take her out of it completely. I thought they wanted variety and champs to be viable in different roles? I'm not good at the game at all, just thought she was a fun and exciting jungler and curious to why they killed it
