They balance the game around both LCS and solo Q, thats why champs like azir, and rek'sai get nerfed so much despite being nonexistent in our games

Well they reverted his Barrel nerf and are currently changing how his passive works. I personally find it okay with just the damage being spread over time. His barrels are the core of this kit with the AA passive enhanced auto is just for small skirmishes and pushing the tower.
