From Alistar's wikipedia, the ability detail of Alistar's R Unbreakable Will, it says "The damage reduction occurs after armor and magic resistance. "

http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Damage_Reduction#Decreasing_damage_received

From Damage modifier's wikipedia, under Damage received modifier , there is a sentence saying "** Damage reduction from armor and magic resistance and from any other sources stack multiplicatively**. "

So if the damage reduction from armor and magic resistance stack multiplicatively with alistar's R Unbreakable Will (being the so-called other sorced.", the sentence saying " The damage reduction occurs after armor and magic resistance." has no meaning at all, stacking multiplicatively means there is no such thing as application of before or after??

i mean if you want to get technical order of operations could technically make it that armor and mr get applied before ali's r and still have it be multiplicatively

Assume you have 100 armor that means 50% damage reduction (if I don't have the formula wrong) and Alistar's R reduce incoming damage by 70%

So if he is hit with a 1k physical damage he would take, 10000.50.3= 150 damage.

Applying after or before has no meaning as long as you have positive armor, however if you have negative armor the story is complete different since league considers negative armor as damage amplification so if you multiply the two numbers first (one negative and one positive) then you will end up with 70% damage amplification....
