Bring back Dominion

As we all know, everyone's favorite game mode was removed a while ago. I'm here to tell you all why it should be brought back. Not everyone has time for a full game of SR or TT, and I'm sure we've all gotten leave warnings from playing and shoddy wifi disconnecting us multiple times, so we know punishments for AFKs are rather severe. So in that case, what can we play? ARAM. All Random (sort of) All Mid. Games take around 20 minutes to complete, so there's our answer. But not quite. I've played around 600 games of ARAM, and many times I have a lot of fun, but it has come to my attention that most of the games that I play are pretty much decided from the start. One team has all bruisers and the other has janna, sona, and 3 ADCs. It isn't even about skill at that point. When the game is "randomly" tilted in one team's favor, even if one team is more skilled than the other and seizes every opportunity they get, they can still easily lose because of a lottery. If not Dominion, there should be a short game mode that actually lets skilled players win with their skill.

I really liked building team comps specifically for Dominion. I rememeber my friends and I always main sure we had a Rammus or Hecaim running Boots of Mobility to get to the Windmill first. Then we'd run like Riven and Orianna to keep the team mobile and have ball delivery.

As said by HotshotGG. It's fast, it's fun!

It was probably the one game mode I hardly got salty over losing becuase the game ends in less than 20 minutes and we could just get into another one. I didn't blame RNG for losing or a teammate that didn't know who play for the Rift Herald/Drake/Scuttler. It just got over it since getting items faster meant I got to have fun with a full build on a champion I picked in a match that lasted within 15 mins because the game was designed to be fast, unlike Summoner's Rift where the build pace is slower. It always bothered me that I'd pick a champ I wanted to play only to get shut down without any hope of getting my build even remotely started.

"Everyone's favorite" Making a lot of assumptions there. Majority of Dominions players were bots and rarely anyone actually played it. I think having Dominion be apart of rotating game modes would be nice but having it back in general would just bring back a lot of bots.

I'd like for them to bring it back as well. Dominion was a lot of fun. Main problem with it was that it benefited certain champions a lot more than others. Like, Nidalee and Karma were both gods of Dominion. Teemo was also especially annoying but not quite as good imho. I could literally walk circles around an entire team 5v1 with tank karma. I remember filling my entire match history with dominion wins only with karma a couple weeks before they shut it down.

Yeah, I know what you mean by the "you lost in champion select" with ARAM, I always lose against a Ziggs every fucking time, or you'll have 5 mages on your team against a Vlad and 4 tanks. It sucks.

Either Dominion or Ascension should be permanent. It's silly that Crystal Scar no longer has a place aside the other maps, as both offer gameplay that we simply don't get with the laning-based modes.

Yes bring back Dominion and remove Summoner's rift until you have an idea on a fair and balanced jungle for all champs that can play in jungle (not just the duelists) and you will see with a balanced jungle that the funneling will stop.

I miss Dominion.

I only got to play it for a few months before it was removed.

It was a "I'm tilted from SR, Lets relax" game mode for me.

Dominion got removed, cuz riot didnt like it FACT, i can easily argue there were enough people back in the day dominion was a thing simple becuase the q times werent big, 3vs3 for example had longer q time than dominion now 3vs3 q time is just ridocolous most of the times, same as 5vs5 blind pick so lets remove blind pick and 3vs3 all together i guess Claiming only bots were playing dominion is pure BS, im a person who spent alot of time in dominion and frankly i never encountered a bot(had over 700games), the one time ive encountered a bot was in a ranked game in the low rating. thats my only bot encounter so far in league and trust me ive played alot my experiernce was 30level + constnatly tho, i cannot argue if the lower levels had issues with bots simply becuase i wasnt making smurfs

I miss the weekly game modes where you can pick whatever you want and try weird builds and not being reported for it. SR get's so boring because you have to follow the meta to win and a game can take up to 50 minutes sometimes.

It'd (Dominion'd) probably be even more fun than it was back then with the addition of all the new champions since the mode was disabled, miss it overall as it was way different from the current modes, BRING DOMINION BACK!

Everyone will have a lot of fun and ppl who left the game will cheer up and come back to league when(not if bcz i still naively hope) dominion will be back, so basically riot doesn't rly want ppl to be happy.
