Rune pages

I wrote about the rune changes when they happened and how I feel we were compensated rather unfairly (not even making 1/3 of what we spent on runes/pages back) and I just looked in the store to see that rune pages were available. For the same price. Why did Riot not keep the number of rune pages each person had and give them those? I see literally no reason for taking away all of our rune pages, giving us barely any compensation, forcing us to use the new system, and bringing rune pages back for full price. If I had 4 rune pages, I would be able to purchase one now. Does this seem insane to anyone else?

weird.. i had 4 rune pages.. and i still have my 4.. doesn't everyone get the complimentary 2 free rune pages ??? i doubt they are paying that much attention to it because you can easily change runes in the lobby.. whereas before you had to have runepages set up.. you couldn't change runes in the lobby, you could only switch between pages.
