what they actually did in the new league rankings (mmrs)

I was moving up a rank a day, ish, for about a week, then I noticed games were basically impossible to understand. There was absolutely no way people were in the same divisions, so I went back to look at the player mmrs, and they had all changed. Games that were rated 1100 were now rated 14-1500, these are all the games going back over the last week. Also, now since I'd assume that was for everyone, so I don't know exactly how games are calculated, but the matchmaking is totally wrekt.

In most games, one lane or another is winning abnormally, like, 11-12 kills up at 15 minutes. You look at the mmrs for the players, and they're close enough, but if you look at the divisions and win rates, you'll have a S3 with a 55% win rate, vs an iron 3 with a 15% win rate. In one game rated 1600mmr, there was an iron 4 with an mmr of 550. So either the player base is so thin they can't keep que times under control, or the actual mmr system is just off, by a lot.

I watched the explanation video about the skill difference being off between bronze 1v5, but how would it make sense to then expand the system and now put iron 3 players in bronze 1 games with silver 3 players in it. Before that would be a 5 rank difference, which didn't happen, but they fixed it by making it a 7 rank difference, which is worse than what was impossible prior (prior being a +/- one, maybe two rank, but still based on mmr).

When this first started, I noticed because my win rate was tanking (80% to 30%)as people from other lanes were leaving lane phase with a 10 kill 4 level lead, but my own mmr was actually going up, but my divisional rank wasn't going down. So what I'm pretty sure they did was just create a skin over a skin over mmr, and just make iron 3 to silver 3 virtually the same mmr, but adjust the mmr of past games to put them all in the same place, which is going to take forever to re-organize itself. If not, I don't see how it's possible for someone to be at, say 250w/250l, and have exactly the same mmr as someone with 80w/440l.
