Yasuo Balance Idea

An idea to replace Yasuo current w with a new ability. Currently, his w is the all loved wind wall. My idea will stick with his theme while also adding more skill to this ability.

W - Windslash -------Cd - 17/15/13/11/9 Yasuo Blocks the next projectile from a certain direction. (imagine a 1 use Braum shield) If it blocks a projectile, the ability cool down is reduced my 90%.

This will allow Yasuo's to do the following:

  1. Block 1 time spell, such as Nidalee spear
  2. Allow adc's to auto attack him, even if he is blocking their every other auto attack
  3. Make it so he cannot block a full burst combo.

This will also stick with his theme of being able to block projectiles with his skills

I realize that all of you who post ideas on how to change windwall think you are revolutionary, but please do realize that

A. It's probably been thought of before

B. There is a reason windwall is how it is

That was more or less the original idea back when Yasuo was being designed. Apparently it proved nigh-impossible/too much work at time with the technology they had back then as they would have to find a way to code the projectile as "destroyed". Instead, they made the Windwall, which is coded as a "minion" and thus can explain the disappeared projectile.

Can they do what you suggested with their current tech? Maybe, considering Fiora's Parry exists (though he parry blocks all attacks, including melee and the code is probably that near that of a spell shield).

Also, as for you #3 point... why the fuck are people compelled to throwing FULL COMBOS at the windwall? Can someone explain this to me?

And that is necessary because Yasuo is...op?

Because...no, hes not. Not in the toplane, not in the midlane.

Hes the same annoying little f*** he always was, but not op.

Do you want a windwall that's almost always up? The only thing I would do is give it a scaling duration with what level the ability is, like have it last 2/3/4/5/6 seconds
