MMR gains busted?
This is happening a lot to me lately, i win 2-3 or more in a row, and my mmr GOES DOWN.
LESS lp for wins back to back, and mmr seems to go down or not move at all.
does anyone understand this mmr system?

full op.gg for reference.
you cant see mmr, opgg uses estimates.
and tbh 100 isnt even that much off.
iirc the difference between something like gold V and Gold IV is 70 points so it'd be like, Gold 5 MMR is 1500-1569. Gold 4 MMR is 1570-1639.

Estimates are the same as what you're doing. According to op.gg Gold 4 is around 1550.
But neither of those is perfect, cause we don't know the true numbers.
why would u receive less lp for multiple wins in a row though...
win 3 games in a row and the rating that im playing at is still less than 4 games ago, and my mmr hasnt changed.
im used to playing around plat2-3 elo, but i seem to be stuck in a gold1 elo since g5.
only got to skip g3.
They put me in silver 1 this season, even though my mmr was g3 before my 10th placement game, and i won that, then they droppped me in silver 1 and my mmr with it.
gold1-2 elo after i get to g5, then im playing plat4-5 every game to advance in g4-5. plat2-3 to advance to g1.
i just dont understand how u can get less lp for constant wins in mmr nearly 1 whole division higher than you are in.
Sometimes if the system thinks you are losing too much (actual mmr on the low side compared to rank) it will place you with higher mmr teammates to compensate a fair match. If you are winning too much it will give you lower ranking teammates, but the mmr you are looking at is your team mmr and doesn't reflect much on the individual and more acts like a guide to see how fair the match was (so you can see mmr differences between teams) you should try to use the "what's my mmr" button on your profile i've found it to be somewhat accurate.
