Scuttle Crab (Rift Scuttle) - A bonus for Smiting him would be useful? Or too OP?

While I believe Scuttle Crab boost will become more important since the lack of Stealth Trinkets, should we also give a small boost if we smite it, now that the top lane is no longer a island? Woulnt it be strategic to isolate top lane as a objective and a decision the jungler can make?

If we have a late game champion at top lane, would it be strategic to smite Scuttle Crab to protect top lane, as well as securising objective as Barron or Dragon?

For exemple, Im thinking of:

1. Wards removal in the river

2. Give a slow to the opponent team in the same zone

3. Actually make a warning ping or screech if someone, anyone, walk in it. It would include stealthed champion
