How riot ruins champions for people(Long Meme)

As we know, Riot likes to changes up there game to try and keep it fresh. This is a good thing and a bad thing. A perfect example is when jungle items got changed like 6 times. You remember when Spirit of the lizard elder was a thing? Or Feral flame? Even the og Wriggles lantern? Well, I'll get to the point. League of Legends is a game of strategy. A key point in strategy games is finding the most effective way to complete a task. In League that is using a champion with the most powerful items, masteries, and runes possible. And due to balance changes some us get fucked over. We get into a nice comfortable place with a champion. It's like a flow, you know exactly what items and what level you can destroy your lane opponent, or exactly how a scenario is going to turn out. With this state of flow certain people climb the ranks. For some reason though Riot strips us of this comfort and shakes our box of tools around and says, "Hey. I added a lot of new tools and took your favorite ones. Go figure it out!"

I'll give some examples that have happened to me albeit sound like these champions were broken once i figured out how to efficiently use them. The first champion I ever found a niche with was Kassadin yeah this son of bitch all people used to fear. This before a certain LCS tourney got him 100% banned every game. He had a silence on his Q at this time and he could Q R W E R someone and nuke them. No one could escape this monster. He was my bae and got me to Gold for the first time. After some item changes and certain mage items got reworked along with Kassadin himself he became useless. The next tool I picked up was Talon at this time talon could simply build a last whisper early and inf edge and destroy people with his silenced Cut-throat E. I wrecked a lot of games with him until his e lost his silence and he was changed. Becoming useless to me and losing his flow. I used Zed for a period of time when talon was picked or I just wanted to play him. I just didn't really like him that much so meh. After this era I moved to the jungle and played Vi as a main. With vi I achieved this lovely ranked streak http://imgur.com/gallery/wUglRVT . This was all thanks to the rushing of Dusk blade before the jungle item. This was back when Dusk blade had zed ult pretty much. Along with Death's dance it was a beautiful combination. But... Riot patched item 3147 and turned going from Gold 3 to Platinum 5 into a meme. After a long hiatus due to military enrollment I have returned to this current season not willing to let go of Vi. I am still in the process of researching a niche build with all the new stuff that has changed, with little results. TL;DR this was pretty much a rant about very efficient champion abuse. "I should probably just get good and adapt to the game!" Is what I expect as feedback. I don't have a lot of time to play as I used to being in my twenties now. I appreciate any VI advice that can be provided by this community.

They change the game in order to make it fair and balanced for everyone. If you want to take the route of "mastering a champion and finding the best build" then don't be a meta-slave and pick the most overpowered champion and items at the time, because they are inevitably going to get nerfed. I loved the old talon too man, it sucks, but you kinda have to roll with the punches. That kass example was just stupid though Im sorry, dont even try and say no-no it doesnt matter he was 100% banned in lcs, I just played it right
