Why did I lose MMR for winning?

Prince of Uganda - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

There are multiple games in my match history where I won the game (and did well) and still lost MMR. There's also a game where I lost without the best KDA in the world, but I gained MMR. How does this make any sense? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

The answer is that op.gg is trying to guess your mmr, but doesn’t have the actual value. Your genuine mmr isn’t publicly available.
