LOL! More like praying someone doesn't dodge.

When the Blind Pick community has fewer players trolling/dodging because they didn't get a certain role than the Draft Pick community, there's a problem with the Draft Pick community.

please, blind is 10x worse than draft anyday. Just that people are prepared to play duo mid in blind cause its an everyday occurrence. I barely find any trolls in draft who steal roles, and they are limited to stuff like Kat support, who won't build sightstone.

everything in EUW is 10x worse, blinds are completely fine in NA

Agreed. Completely Agreed.

In the last 50 or so Blind Pick games I've played I haven't had anyone try to Duo Mid or anything of the sort. I've seen some interesting bot lane matchups, but no one trying to steal roles.

Even arguing over roles has become very rare for Blind Pick, with most people who cared that much about roles moving to Draft Pick. In Blind, if their role was taken they just go down their preferred order, with many people choosing Support before other open roles.

Isn't it funny? The mode that gets criticized and stereotyped for having people fighting over the same position isn't having frequent dodges or people complaining about their role, despite low queue times where they could dodge and try again with little penalty.

More like people are just pussies and don't want to play support. Seriously, it's nice being a support main. Shorter queue times, less contest for your role (as in, go buy a lotto ticket if you actually have to fight somebody for support), and you don't have any spotlights shining on you. At least the jungler has to gank and shit, all you have to do as a support is make sure the enemy bot is 0/5 by 10 minutes and your ADC has at least 20 CS at the end of the game. (Seriously, ADCs below Plat can't last-hit for shit :3)

Not only do you get all these awesome perks, but you also have access to the widest champion pool in the entire game, where a LOT (and I do mean A LOT) of champions are semi-viable or totally-viable in the role, so long as you just buy the appropriate support item + Sightstone. (Sightstone just to appeal to those crybabies that refuse to ward then complain about having no vision. Hey guys: You get 2 free wards every couple minutes from your trinket, how 'bout using 'em? Kthx)

There's a problem with the game design when you are forced to play a role you don't want to play and must pick between wasting 20+ minutes in a game you don't want to be in and sitting out 5-15 minutes for dodging.

(For instance, I am on the forums right now waiting out my 15 minute timeout)

How so?

As best I can tell, occasionally playing a role/position you'd rather not in impromptu games (without the same team) has been a part of playing games for centuries. If you didn't like it then you either put up with it for the duration of the match or you sat out the match. Yet I've never heard anyone complain about it being bad "game design", it's just a fact of life.

If you enjoy blind pick good for you, but it's not for everybody. I'd rather not have to fight for my role, deal with mirror matches and have no idea what runes/summoners to take because you have no idea what the enemy team comp is.

There isn't really that much fighting in blind

Having to do Champ Select lobby 3 times because someone dodges - usually one of the last picks when we're close to actually playing - is just horrible. But for some reason I go through 10-15 "Ready Checks" before even getting to those lobbies. Somehow the Ready Check pops up then cancels almost instantly after I hit the prompt, so I have to wait for another match to do the same thing and pray I even get to the lobby. Then I get to the lobby and someone dodges again after ban phase or because they got auto-filled...

I swear, I get stuck playing Support more than ever just because our Support was auto-filled and doesn't have any skill or good picks for the role. So either I sigh and swap with them or someone dodges and I never get to play. Never thought I would miss the times before Role Select...

I think I am on my 4th dodge in a row. People dont like auto fill. Period. Additionally I think some people dont like getting their second pick. The system needs to go to 1 role choice and remove auto fill. At this point it is taking longer because of all the dodges. People want to play what they want to play.

I think it should allow you to select anywhere from 1-4 roles (cause if you select 5, just queue fill, right?) Because then people who are 1trick ponies are fine and people who enjoy 3 roles are fine and people who hate support are fine too.

This is actually a fucking brilliant idea. Nice work!!!!!!

Tfw they enable autofill in all queues to reduce queue times and it takes longer to get into a game than before anyway because of dodges.
