@MMR conspiracy theorists: Stop and ask yourselves a few questions.

  1. Why would Riot be deliberately matching you with feeders after win streaks? What do they gain?
  2. Do you really think Riot would gather 9 specific players just to make you lose?
  3. If your enemies are so good, why aren't they being put on lose streaks instead?
  4. If your allies are so shit, why aren't they being put on win streaks instead?
  5. Can you actually source any of your claims about what Riot is doing?
  6. Have you ever considered the fact that you're basically an "elo hell" advocate on steroids?

{quoted}

Or of course simply try to answer the converse. When you're on a losing streak, does Riot match you up with people on win streaks to carry you back up?

  1. To keep players at around the perfect 50% win rate. To make players keep grinding ranked games in hopes of climbing to the rank they want one day.
  2. Not 9 specific players.....7-8 players around my MMR and 1-2 garbage tier feeder to place in my team.
  3. Enemies being good is not the problem...they can be just as average as me. But that 0-7 top laner at 6 minutes in my team ;). And if you can be bothered to check their match history, I'm sure you'll find the pattern.
  4. Allies are shit, thats why they're put with a player with a winning streak(High MMR), so that they can carry their ass.
  5. About 1500 ranked games played since patch 5.4....my observation are source.
  6. I don't give a fk....I just don't want 0-7 win-loss unranked players in my team when I'm doing Silver 1 promos.

No.

What people are complaining is not Riot somehow intentionally match feeders with you just to fondle with our assholes, but the flaws in the MMR system that after win streaks you will have elevated MMR while the system matches you up with people with noticeably lower MMR than you and so they end up feeding and you lose almost automatically without much control.

The same also goes when you're on lose streaks, you can work out the rest.

The problem with this system is that in order to prevent getting matches you have almost no control over (in the case of getting the supposed feeders after win streaks, for instance), you have to intentionally throw a couple matches here and there, otherwise you have to be several leagues above your peers such as in the case of smurfing which let's be real is impossible for players who're just climbing and not smurfing; now that's trouble.

I always wonder how riot knows when someone is going to magically have a bad game and thus put them with a person they want to do bad.

Like do.people not realize that would legit require kmowing the future.

I'm not putting on my tinfoil hat and saying that Riot is intentionally sabotaging my games, but if you think matchmaking is fine, especially in Silver and Platinum, you're obviously not paying attention.
