As we speak I'm restarting a game that disconnected me while loading without even telling me. Until I restarted the client myself.
As a jungler.
In ranked.
And then had the audacity to blame my firewall for it.
Can we fix this already? This isn't NEARLY the first time this happened.

it gets even worse. i had a game stuck in the loading screen showing everyone at 100% once. sometimes it can take a long time for the game to actually start even when everyone is shown at 100%. so naturally i discovered this 3 minutes into the actual game, when i restarted and reconnected.

Before season 3 or 4 the loading screen used to show everyone's pings, and it was when you stopped seeing fluctuations in everyone else's ping that you knew you had crashed. But they removed them because apparently that caused bullying (sure, whatever. People always pointed out loading speed rather than ping) but didn't give us an alternative system to check for crashes.
And since your own ping can fluctuate even when crashed, and since the loading percentages are unreliable as fuck, you can never know now.

If I leave lane and help leash, my lane opponent is going to get free farm and experience on me, putting both of us behind instead of just one of us.

Should easily be able to do some camps, back, get jg item, then move forward. Asking for a leash because you crashed will just put the laner behind that leashes you. And since you're behind, you aren't exactly going to give them some quick ganks to catch them up....

If you crash it will activate the little window hidden behind client.
If you are loading fine it won't do anything, but it will let you know if you ninja crash

PeponiPoro2 votesThis is what i do when I the loads take a while, but then on those occasions where there is actually a problem my computer usually freezes for about 5 minutes even though it is a fine computer in every sense but League of Legends. I can't wait to get a new client. Hopefull this will fix most of the problems, while obviously causing new ones.

Transgressor1 votesFrom all the updated lore we still have nothing about Runeterra, just the seperate fuctions and locales. There's no Institute of War, we still know jack shit about why everyone's fighting in the Summoners Rift. I'd like a visual novel of some sorts or a webcomic about the whole lore tying it all together as well. They can pull it off easily, but we can't have that, it doesn't make direct profit for the investors.
From the recent lore, the only thing I don't like is Illaoi and Ekko, I hate everything about them, they are as amaturish and shallow as it can get, not to mention self-contradictory. But that's just my opinion.
By the way, "peponi" is greek for melon :D

I usually think it is someone else that is lagging so I usually wait a little bit. Then I release it is me so I have to restart my client in order for me to join and I would be behind. I sometime wish there was an indication of some sort to let you know that the game has begun.
Strawberrycocoa4 votesI periodically spike lag up to 400-500 ping, these spikes happen to other people in my matches pretty regularly as well, yet nobody from Riot seems to acknowledge or address the need to fix this. I see that a LOT more than full client crashes.
At the end of the day though, these issues aren't costing Riot money because people keep playing anyway, so they don't put resources into fixing it. If it isn't costing them players, it isn't an important problem.

Strawberrycocoa4 votesI just feel like a game that emphasizes real-time PVP should do more to ensure the smoothness of it's latency. If it was just me I'd assume my internet was borked, but it hits other people all the time. I can't play a match some days without seeing allies gripe about their ping shooting up to 400 or more.
League is the only multiplayer game I have that problem on, too. My MMOs don't randomly spike me up with lag, neither does TF2.

On a nice gaming computer and decent internet, the ninja crash is the only problem I experience. I can restart my computer from off all the way to the desktop in 6 seconds so all I need to know is that I've crashed and I can fix it.

Uiraya2 votesI had this happen tonight too. Luckily it kicked in before all the portraits had loaded so I was tipped off immediately (and could begin the lengthy disconnect/reload process) but it usually doesn't work out like that.
The list of things Riot lets destroy ranked games is quite obscene. I'm surprised I didn't have to "agree" to "not disconnect from games in the future" (I got this for trying to fix a loading screen crash once and it was unbelievably offensive).
