Riot , it's time to stop ignoring Aatrox and his player base

As we all know here on the boards , and generally speaking , Aatrox and his player base is being ignored by Riot . I dont know why , but ut's true . Juste take a look on how Riot is acting quick to bring back nidalee : " Oh , she is very weak since few patches , we gotta buff her asap " but if it comes to Aatrox , i've got a feeling that they are shitting their pants to even think about giving some love to him .

I play that guy a lot . He's my favourite champ . But it's fucking annoying to see those fucking meme's everywhere when someone mentions him . " Aatrox ? LUL GG WP TROLL PICK "

Riot , it's time to stop ignoring him , me , and everyone who is playing him . I want to get some information about WHEN will we see Aatrox in the PBE notes. Your narrative surrounding him is something like this " Aatrox ? Oh yes , where doing some work , can we talk about something else ? " And that's no bueno guys . For me , this is what i call ignorance .

I understand that he's hard to balance , like every sutain based champion in this game , but giving him just a little bit of base HP and HP per level , would not broke him at all . I still struggle to accept your explanation on why is he as squishy as some mages and adc's while being played top and jgl .

Give him some love !

EDIT : I expected the downvotes . I guess that what it's true , hurts the eyes .

in the twitch stream of ask riot couple days ago, some person asked when will aatrox get his rework. Ghostcrawler and meddler replied that he will get a mini rework (think of it as alistar rework) and that aatrox is in no need for a full VGU. So, they will change a skill and tamper with the others and that these changes will and I quote "will very likely be soon this year". So my guess is we will finally see some buffs around 7.3-7.5.

Quit whining... look how long it has taken Yorick to get reworked, and Warwick, and Poppy, and Sion... They were around before Aatrox, you so called "Aatrox mains" are not being ignored, there are older champions that need to be reworked. Aatrox is in need of serious work, no one denies that, but you need to either play a different champion or wait for them to announce changes.

I'm not whining . And I disagree , we are getting ignored , they've already announced that he will get a buff in preseason or january/february . Preseason is out , january is almost at his end and there is still nothing on the horizon , only some vague informations .

Stop playing him... You are playing a champion you know is weak and are complaining that you are playing a champion that you know is weak... That is ludicrous, now if Aatrox belong to an entire class of champions that were all weak, then you could complain. He is one champion who is intentionally being kept in his current state because they are working on a way to fix him.

You are not being ignored you even proved it in your own comments, they are acknowledging him even if its brief... Like I said quit whining and play a different champion. Instead of posting threads like these, why not post ideas to make him viable? You never know, you might come up with something they didn't think of.

I will not stop playing him , simply because i've learned how to have succes with him . And why should I post ideas that will be completely neglected by Riot since they know better what to do ?

then why are you complaining?!?! You are having success with him, is that not good enough? What you mean to say is "I want Aatrox to be broken so I can stomp every game" and that just isn't going to happen. He had his time for a small period and it was unanimously decided he was too strong and badly designed.

If you are comfortable with how he is because you have figured him out, what is there to complain about? You can't pick a champion known for being kept intentionally weak, and then complain that he is weak. It is common knowledge that champions like him and Kalista and Azir are weaker right now because their designs are too overwhelming when they are strong.

why should I post ideas that will be completely neglected by Riot since they know better what to do ?

your whining posts are even worse... at least you are trying to contribute to making the game better rather than further the toxicity towards Riot for stupid reasons.

Honestly I got where you were coming from but if you know he is due for some work then why bother with this post. Patience my friend. Even if he does not get the update now, remember that he is a part f the diver class which is possibly CONFIRMED to at least happen this year. In one way or the other Aatrox will have an updated kit by 2018 latest. If not, then you can be as upset as you want.

Look how long ppl waited for Yorick and Taric (granted almost no one played them b4). And you are lucky aatrox has a decent model meaning when they do start work on him it won't take that long for his changes to hit live.

Whereas Irelia and Panth mains like myself have to wait for their reworks to be confirmed, then six months later for it to be revealed, then another 2 weeks for it to be released on live servers. And 2017 is already booked for VGUs so I have to wait until 2018 to seen if they manage to wiggle into the list. That's 2019 I have to wait for a Panth rework for the latest. (makes me sad now that I think about it).

Patience and good faith, my friend. Pray that he either gets changes by March or that the diver class is the next update.

his player base of around 200 people, max. I'm not intentionally being an asshole, I'm just being truthful. When Riot is deciding what to balance, they will of course pick the things that have large impacts on the playerbase. Do you really want to take a part of the team and dedicate them towards trying to balance aatrox for the sake of 200 people when a few million are angry about other things?

I can assure you that he has more than 200 player base .

They are paid to provide the best experience possible for the players in the game. I think a few million outranks a few (and i'm being extremely generous) thousand.

I understand your point but if that were completely true then the Yorick rework would have never happened. They are concerned beyond the player base and do take champion health (game play wise) into consideration. The recent kalista buffs are another example.

Aatrox needs a full rework and that's going to take them a while to accomplish.
