Can we replace the RNG spawn of Elemental Drakes with a voting system?

You all know the feeling of having a random elemental drake spawn that you can't really make all that much use of ( for example the classic late game ocean drake when you have 2 infernals ). Yeah it kinda sucks but usually it's not really too bad and you just go "oh well, better luck next time I guess".

But now watch the later parts of the video I linked and come back to this post. All of this is going to be RNG. With elemental drakes having so much more impact, having no control over it will suck so SOOOOO much.

So here's my suggestion: At the beginning of each game and every time a drake dies, there will be a vote at the bottom right of your screen like a surrender vote that all 10 players can participate in, except they vote for which elemental drake will spawn, with the majority winning out ( if there are 2 or more sides that have equal amount of votes, RNG will still decide who wins the vote ). This way you'll have some control over it.

You're a Juggernaut that hates enemies jumping over walls? Vote for Infernal and make all these walls disappear. You're a Rengar main and want to have more outplay opportunities? How about voting for ocean so there are more brushes?

Either that, or all of it will be left up to chance. Please Riot, it's super important that we have some control over this.

So... never see ocean or cloud drake ever again? You know that people are going to get all 3 infernals first and foremost right? Don't even try to say otherwise.

I personally love having Cloud and Ocean drake, it makes for a more thought driven match with map rotations instead of being involved in a statcheck teamfight.

But in reality, like you said, many players will just opt out for damage boosts through Infernal and Mountain drakes instead of Cloud or Ocean drake.

i love ocean drake but let's face it, most people prefer the extra damage they get from infernal drake rather than the regen they get from ocean and most people severely underestimate how useful MS is as a stat.

RNG is bad in all aspects. They should just do like Hots or Dota and make objectives or small runes that let you control which effects you get. Riot literally said in their article that they chose not to go the more logical route cause they wanted to keep players from learning new mechanics. This game is literally being kept casual and RNG for literal children.

I'd much rather it be chance than being able to influence a team's side of having an advantage or disadvantage due to team composition. It'd be unfair in some cases, and abusable in others. It'd be nice if each champion had a small % of causing a certain elemental drake to spawn, though, like Soraka giving a 5% increased chance of Ocean Drake.

Sometimes it's just spawns 3 infernal in a row when your team already in behind, this gives you no chance to comeback.

Nah, it should still be random, but you should know what is going to happen well in advance.

Just have the dragon sequence visible in champion select and in the tab menu.

Since dragons are likely going to have even more of an impact on the game, something I wouldn't hate seeing is dragons being determined and displayed in champion select. It wouldn't change solo queue at all, but it would make premade and professional games more interesting.

Though I'd rather dragons have less of an impact on the game

Its ok as it is now. You can see what drake will spawn next and plan to rotate/fight for it or give it up and do something else If there are 2 inferno drakes and a cloud already slain, and next one is ocean, you alread know what will happen once that drake is slain Its rng, but there is enough time to prepare for it and use it. Besides, other than some extreme cases(Rengar with ocean, Qiyana with infernal/mountain) they work equally for both teams. And to be fair, I think getting 2 oceans and some bushes is not really much better for Rengar than getting 2 infernals instead. An idea to see the full drake sequence is ok, but i doubt it will change much, other than raise frustration in several cases("wtf, there are 3 infernals incoming and you gave them fb? gg we lost")

This is bad for multiple reasons but the biggest being that the team who is behind can determine which dragons the leading team will get. I have nothing against any of the dragons as they are all good in their own way on different champions. My personal favorites are ocean then cloud to accommodate my main. Taric gets the most value out of these because he is extremely mana hungry and one of only 4 champions who has no mobility. Cloud is probably my priority 1 because the enemy getting it without me getting it means I will never stun anyone. There is more to this game than tons of damage.
