More In-Game Items
Statistics have shown that over the course of League's history, more finished items make the overall game play more meaningful and enjoyable for everyone- except for the developers. It would only make sense to incorporate more finished items and the only downfall to this is "keeping track with balances" as League's lazy motto would claim. If this truly were correct, they wouldn't have implemented 2 more AD assassin items. With that said, I believe that there needs to be a ton of more choices when it comes to finished items for every role- and look I get it, sometimes too many items can get in the way- but that is why the ones that are very unpopular right here, right now (Shurelya's Reverie, Frozen Mallet, Gargoyle's Stone Plate and Mikael's Crucible) should be replaced with other items or better stats. As it stands, the majority of champions have 2-3 core items and then the rest are situational. For example, top lane no longer caters to health and focuses on damage by comparison and due to the change of item sets, that seriously hurts the champions who need to have higher resistances in order for a champion to utilize their role well. More items in that subsection/category for example, could definitely open up many more opportunities for any kind of role. In fact, because of the existence of counter building, it will only make such a strategy much more viable. No longer will the meta be, "Build this and now or you will regret it until the game ends". If you remove the NECESSITY of core items due to "core" only being defined as "works best with now not later" (like finished boots, starter's item, and complex detailed item) then maybe this could create another level on top of how this game is played. On a side note, I personally think that it It would be nice to see more slots to buy items into as well as individual items having simple stats, but lets be honest- the more complex they are, the more they are abused within the game and the harder it is to statistically identify how they're defined for each and every single character.
As always, I'd love to hear your input. No hate please.
