Daily reminder that Riot is an awful company for allowing the tank meta to go on for this long.

There is nothing "fresh" and "exciting" about a team running 4 tanks and every single one of those 4 tanks doing more damage than the one ADC they picked.

This has gone on for over 6 months, how can you allow such a dull, boring, and atrocious meta to go on this long? It doesn't matter if you get 20 kills before 25 minutes on an assassin... when that tank gets Iceborn + Sunfire + Spirit Visage... the game is over. You are no longer useful, the tank does more damage than you, and you cannot beat him.

A tank is meant to tank damage, yes... but a tank is not meant to be unkillable 1v1 while slaying damage dealers left and right no matter how much you outplay him. Riot, you as a company have a responsibility to your customers to keep this game fresh, fair, and interesting. This game sucks a fat baby's dick right now. No one is happy that there is this long ass continual tank meta that is not stopping. Whoop dee doo, you slowed ekko down BARELY... OH NO now ekko has to build An abyssal to be right back where he was, or even stronger than before.

The only people that are happy in this meta are people who play complete brain-dead champions like Maokai, Nautilus, Rammus, and other 1 button dream tanks who are virtually unkillable with those 3 items. I am not even going to touch on the fact that turrets are weak as FUCK and that games can be over in one teamfight at 30 minutes WHEN EVERY TURRET IS UP, which is ridiculous.

FIX YOUR GAME. Do not allow this trash to continue any longer. Get rid of this awful tank meta.

You won't do this daily.
Just because you don't like the current meta doesn't mean Riot is awful. Your opinion is not the end all, be all of this game.

I've sat through mage metas and assassin metas and true tank metas. If you think THIS is the worst meta of them all you have no clue what you're talking about.

If you don't like it, then you can just quit.

Also, tanks will be tanks always. This applies to every other game out there, especially MMO's, where a tank is harder to kill yet they can do good damage against squishies.

So, stop your whining. Either pick a tank, or start going tank on your "assassins". Tank Katarina is literally no joke. You should try it.

Tanks have to be able to kill too, and no one is "unkillable" because they can all be killed.

Riot's a pretty damn good company, it's just that a PVP game like this will never "feel" balanced to the players because losing will always be frustrating and sucky.

Its been going for years. I predict the outcome of every game based on who has more tanks, and its almost always correct. I dont understand why teams dont just play 5 tanks. You would literally never lose.

As a player of braindead one button dream tanks (I'm basically the conductor of the Dredge Line), I actually agree with you. I don't play tanks to deal damage, I play them to take damage. To disrupt an enemy team and generally be a nuisance.

I legit don't want to kill people as a tank. The absurd damage they can do makes the glorious feeling of tanking a Mystic Shot or a Jinx rocket or whatever for your teammate and just shrugging it off like nothing happened pretty redundant, as I find myself thinking "There's no need for this, I can reach them, I can kill them and just be done with it."

The idea of being an enormous monster that bullets just bounce off of is redundant when you can make it so no bullets are fired in the first place.

That said, I have no clue how I would go about fixing this. Do you have any ideas?

I went thru your ranked match history. i just dont understand why your so upset. Of the few most recent losses i looked at i saw no ekkos, and looking over damage to champs don't see any evidence for tanks = best damage dealers in game. The team that can peel for an adc typically have an adc do more damage. Your most recent loss your comp was Blitzcrank Kindred Fizz Zed Lucian You and fizz duoed as well. Try to communicate in lobbys better to balance your comp out, yall needed some cc. Also i recall this seasons meta starting ADC then Assassins to counter adcs, then tanks to deal with assassins.

what tank meta this is adc assassin meta tank meta was nerfed 1 and a half years ago but no matter how out of meta tanks as a whole are are neeeded on a healthy team as much as an adc. Rod of Ages Ap mage item with as much ap as Rabadons Death Cap has as much health on it as most of the hard core tank items everything except Warmogs armor which they nerfed the passive for and the health on every tank items so the synegy with warmogs was down. when tanks were healthy again to the point they could make it out of fights if running and being chased everyone cried it was boring cause tanks were doing their jobs tanking damage and not dieing so riot buffed ad items buffed and nerfed ap items and mass nerfed almost every defensive item meant for tanks meaning not Zhonyas Maw and what QSS builds into
