So I took a couple days off to stop getting aggravated at League. 1st Game back reminds me why...

The first game back I am playing LeBlanc and the bot laner is calling me "Lebitch" over and over and over during champ select and in-game. He is playing Nunu support. He intentionally watches me fight and when I get someone to the last tick to auto and kill them, he steals it and then trash talks about how I'm not getting anything this game. He is in a quadra-que so his buddies constantly trash talk and bully as much as possible the entire game just to try to make their friend feel good about being a complete dick. I carry them hard, get them a win without saying anything.

Afterwards I sit here thinking: I am reminded why I hate this game so much. I reported every single one of them. My team was asking to report me constantly in all-chat everytime something went wrong, and the enemy team egged it on trying to get me to rage quit by screaming "LOL 9 REPORTS YOU GOT IT" "LOL LEBLANC PLAYER" etc. etc. because I was creaming them.

The truth of the matter is this: they were in a quadra-que, 7 out of the 9 players besides me in the game were toxic as hell, and Riot will not do a god damn thing to any of them because I got more reports for doing NOTHING WRONG than they did for being super toxic. I am sitting here waiting on the message that one of them has been punished, but it looks like I will not get it. I hate this game and this company for making such a shitty report system. Granted I haven't been punished, but it's just the principle.

It only takes one report to send the game to Riot for evaluation. Extra reports don't do anything. Players aren't punished for only one game, they're punished for many, many games of misbehavior that makes a pattern. Therefore, you shouldn't put too much emphasis on one game either. I'd suggest you mute at the first sign of toxicity instead of listening to it.

Okay, this is just completely false. Just because you received more reports against you than anyone else does not mean that the system will just ignore those other players and only focus on you. That's not how it works. It doesn't only review the chat of the player who received the most reports against them, it reviews the chat of EVERYONE who received even just one report. Even if everyone else in that game reported you and no one else, if you reported them back then the system will review their chat logs as well.

Also, as someone stated above, the number of reports you receive in a single game doesn't matter. The system doesn't look at the raw number of reports against you, but rather the percentage of games that you've been reported in, and it only takes a single report to flag that game for review. This essentially means that a single report in one game holds just as much weight as nine reports in one game, as the system will view both of these instances as one reported game.
