Whatever i do i feel like never dealing enought damage, never being tanky enought and i usually get shit on by champion i'm suppose to counter .. top lane overall isn't fun like it used to be for me. Any roles or champion i should switch to?

When the only answer is abuse of Darius in his buffed state... it's not really an option. What if i like Garen from a style and lore point ? What if i feel more safe and have more fun playing Garen ? I should remain to dust my whole life ?

It depend of the situation. Against easy foe, i tend to get Phase rush/resolve tree, against tankier target, i'll go typical Grasp/Precision/Sorcery tree. For build it's basically the same, Tankyness if needeed, Sunfire cape, black cleaver, spectre cowl etc . If i am facing an easy target and i get ahead, i'll probly grap a Youmuu ghostblade , Sterak gage and the required stuff to crush my opponent. If my team require more sticking power i might add righteous glory inside my build . It depend on who i am facing but i feel like regardless of what i do. I get often crushed by champion i should be countering. Exemple Renekton and Riven who both pick Aftershock since they added an AD ratio to it..(wich was dumb tbh but that's riot for us).

. with bc and rylais with coin, they will never out run you again. you will also feel more impactful in teamfights because of it.

you just havent tried the good build yet.
For the coins, cull and Black cleaver items i saw people in diamond do so. Stattik is used in One shot build alongside with duskblade, trinity force, youmuu ghost blade with Dark harvest.. so it doesn't make sense here. Rylai? I've saw AP Garen running rylai/liandry/abyssal mask/lichbane and void staff with pen boots, but in this build ? Doesn't make sense..
Denims Wrath6661 voteslike i said, they cant out run you at all with bc and rylais. during a good teamfight you will actually feel like you can peel as garen and thats the whole point of it. dont bother buying the ap parts, just buy the item straight up after ruby. it seems troll, but slowing with q, e, and r is amazing. the static is just to crit a bit, more movement speed, burst. not a core, i just know its fun on garen, rylais is like core imo.
