Championship Riven returns 2016.

Great isn't it!? Now those of us who didn't have the chance to buy her before will get her now. Except that OO(original owners) of the CS Riven skin will be given:

1: Extra detail on the model (A crown/Tiara if I read it right) 2: Extra particle effects (probably her passive glow most likely) 3: A loading screen board 4: A "Vintage" summoner Icon

And Riot's idea of "fair treatment" was thrown out of the window. I understand why a lot of people who own CS riven from season 2 are angry that they release it again, I get your point... BUT. Everyone.

EVERYONE should be given the chance to acquire at least everything in the game. ONCE Except for victorious skins/icons. Not a lot of people (Not including myself, I was just broke when the skin came out) were playing back during season 2.

Riot's idea of fair treatment was that "if ONE person gets something, then everyone must get it, we don't do favoritism among players" but this is exactly the opposite of what Riot is doing with the re-release of CS Riven. OO of CS Riven will be getting up to four extra things, WHICH i might add will only serve to make them gloat even more...

you already own a super rare skin and every single time you use it people will be jealous, you owned this skin for what, FOUR seasons already. You've had enough time to boast about your "skin" in our faces.

I'm not saying it does or will but if this gets seen by a red, then please: Give those extra's to everyone who buys CS Riven OR don't give them to anyone. The fields of justice are already unfairly balanced in terms of champion balancing. At LEAST make this fair for everyone.

As someone who owns the skin I think this is very fair. I really feel the only skins that shouldn't be made available are contracted based skins (PAX) and Victorious skins as those are a sign of playing rank.

Anything else should be fair game! I'm glad that they are re-releasing the skin because when ever I use it (despite sucking badly playing Riven) people are shocked. But it's nice that people get a chance to buy the skin again!

I think the extra stuff they give to us original owners is a good thing. You have to remember this was a Limited Edition skin. As if they originally promised not to release it again. But now that time has past and the skin line is an annual thing it makes sense to re-release it. Plus it's a nice gesture to give to people who originally own it.

honestly the in game model should be the same for everyone, re-releasing this way defeats the purpose in my opinion. yeah the icon and border are just but if they changed the model they should have just made it championship riven 2.0.

I think that although it was "limited" The amount of illegal means that people have chosen to acquire the skin + the amount of season 2 players that still exist shows to me that the favoritism is unjust.

It's a nock off of the original, but it's much more, it gives off that yasuo effect of feeling your better than everyone else because you think your some og.

If instead of seperating players for their pride and feeling of self worth we allow it to be standerd it would greatly help the misconception that all rivens are created salty. [slayer-jinx-wink]
