So far from what I can tell, this guy is all about LC$ B!GPL@YS. But not like we didn't expect it. So far his teamfight does not appear to be gamechanging, but his objective control is going to be godlike.
So far I've easily some great gameplay options and combos. The ability to allow his entire team to enter through a wall, allows for mighty baron and dragon steals. HIs ult gives them time to do so as well. I can already see it. Enemy team taking baron/dragon? Ult them. Create wall, team comes through prepares and blows up team the moment they come out of stasis as well as taking dragon. Also noticed that the W Q combo will make a nice wombo and bait. Get a teammate positioned behind wall while running away from enemy. Create portal through wall and enter. The moment the enemy comes in behind you Q stun to the wall and let team blow them up while stunned. I like it.
Overall it seems like his teamfight won't be overly impressive like recent supports. (thresh, braum etc) however, bard's map and objective control is downright godlike. His lane phase seems like its going to be amazing. His ability to set up ganks will surpass thresh's because he's not required to land a hook. He could just ult the enemy while creating a portal and easily have four pple bot lane. His poke in lane seems like it will hurt a lot since his passive looks somewhat similiar to the effect Lulu's has. What are you guys' thoughts on bard's future gameplay and position?
