I'm just thinking that there is no reason to allow players of different ranks to play together in ranked matches, it defeats the purpose.... I'm just here to open the discussion tough so feel free to share your opinion on the subject.
By vastly different ranks I mean 2-3 ranks of difference. (where 1 rank = 5 divisions) example: no platinum allowed to play with bronzes on ranked matches (no matter what).

Tenedria1 votesbecause of the other team. Its not fair to them if they aren't a perfect mirror of your team composition. Sure it matters less because its not ranked but it might be a little anti-fun.

They attempt to make it as balanced as possible as well as in normals it shouldn't matter about rank period. that would just ENCOURAGE people to smurf more so they can play with low elo friends honestly. I play normals for fun, to play around and NOT take the game seriously. if you wanna get mad over the game or take it seriously go to ranked it is "more balanced" to skill level and you wont have an issue then.

I do agree that it could encourage smurfing although it takes a lot of games to get to level 30, doing this just to be able to carry a bronze up seems like a major waste of time. Its easier to just do it through their own account anyways.

No, people would buy accounts. and you aren't boosting them you would just have an unranked level 30 to play normals with your low elos. it is already in place were you can plat with anoone not near your rank (golds can only duo with plat/silver) (plats only gold/diamond) ETC.

Yeah I see what you mean. But maybe if they limited it using the MMR as well or something...? When a Challenger makes a smurf his win rate would be abnormally high so he's obviously not a bronze player. That kindof logic. I can see how it would frustrate players tough because they would be controlled by an invisible stat.
