Opinion from a normal guy (Jungle overhaul)

The new jungle leaves very little room for people who aren't already jungle mains or playing sustain junglers to do well. It's as simple as that. I'm rarely behind the support in levels as a mediocre jungler, but more the exact same level. I'm within 1k gold of their income as well. Given my preference for tank OR assassin style junglers, after investing in any level of vision/sustain, I'm having trouble getting enough gold from my own jungle to get the core items in my basic builds completed in a reasonable amount of time.

I welcome change, I really do. I'm continually trying to embrace the new jungle, but I just can't have fun constantly trying and failing to catch up to the people on my own team. The jungle was nerfed to reduce the damage skilled players were causing in high level gaming. What wasn't taken into account was how well the non-elite would do in it. A sweeping stroke was taken across the entire jungle to fix the major violators, something a well trained and motivated champion balance team could have solved themselves in a week.

Without the exact combination of runes, proper leash, and clear order on anything but heavy sustain junglers, you end up too low to do anything worthwhile for the first 7 minutes of the game. Unless you're a level 2 ganker, you are excluded from meaningful participation for what I feel is too long.

Having to back 1:30 after creeps spawn is NOT fun, nor is it when I have to back shortly after clearing the other side of my jungle. It's not fun being two, sometimes even three levels below solo laners while simultaneously being undergeared.

TLDR: "Hey, I'm backing! Hey, I'm backing! Gonna gan- oh wait I'm behind."
