22 LP plus 84 LP = 90 LP?

Before a match it said I had 84 LP, so I thought one game and I could get to promos, this game did last 50 mins but I got 22 LP for it, yet my LP is only at 90. How did this happen?

Heyo,

You had 84LP last night. You played a game earlier today and lost down to 68LP, and just won a game which brought you up to 90LP.

He was probably referring to a 3rd party site for his LP because he wasn't sure, but they take a while to update often. It'd be really helpful if your match history showed your LP gains/losses and total afterwards.

But you can just check your profile for LP, why would he need a third party site?

Doesn't it say in the post game screen though? It shows how much LP you have right under the mastery score and xp gain circles, right? No matter what if he was checking out of game he can go to profile and there's no point in checking mid game as it may affect your gameplay being overly cautious or something.

I'm dumb though so please ignore me, I probably don't know what I'm talking about. I can't even play league right now to know if I'm right or wrong.

I did not use a third party site, after my first promo it said I had 84 lp, after the second I check again and it stayed at 84, before I entered a new match it still said 84 lp. This was on my profile in the league client. Guessing it did not update in between the matches.

Then the client was being stupid. We're getting a new client sometime soon I guess you just have to live with the kinks until then.
