Queue dodging and why it shouldn't be punished

Ok I was curious as to why queue dodging is punished when some games its the only option. Say you're in your promos in ranked and you get the one guy who decides he didn't get his lane so he's gonna take teleport and revive. Since it's going to be an obvious loss why should i still lose lp for trying to avoid such a situation. It's not like it's going to take an eternity to find another game for everyone else.
