Hey I would really appreciate if any1 could give me tips or suggestions from how to go transition to unlocked camera, I’m finding it very hard as when I started playing league last year it was always fixed for me. I find it especially hard to use in fights or team fights as I struggle to move the cam quickly while also casting and hitting all my abilities :)
You should start with the camera pan speed, find a speed that's comfortable for you and doesn't put you off screen insanely. Start at a low camera edge pan speed and then work your way up as you get more comfortable.
Also you can use SPACEBAR to center the camera around your champion so you can reorient the camera as you see fit, or if you just need to snap it back quickly.
Try playing with unlocked 24/7, unbind your Y, it will feel weird and hard at first but in a few days you'll be pro. After playing Dota 2 a lot, I personally find locked camera very clunky and restricting
