Iceborn lost it's AP because Sheen did, and Riot changed it into the 'tank's sheen item'. AP champions still have Lich Bane.
Taking the AD off of Sterak's nullifies part of it's purpose. It's a juggernaut item, and juggernauts have abilities that scale off of total AD, which Sterak's provides. If anything, they should just make it melee-only.
