Fiora's Lunge Riposte Interaction (No Hard Evidence)

To preface about the evidence, I have no friends to test this with and the idea just popped into my head so I haven't gotten the chance to look at past games where the interaction, or the lack of it, occurs. Apologies for my iffy wording and sentence structure.

I've been looking over the history of the boards with keywords "fiora," "lunge," "parry," and "riposte." None of it seems to cover the interaction when Fiora uses riposte while lunging. I remember on release of Fiora's rework I was able to make plays when chasing people who are casting a hard cc ability. A notable one is when Cait places a trap and I lunge riposte through and when the indicator is over Caitlyn (or any other champ within the indicator) it would proc the stun. That does not happen in my recent games (within the last year) when the indicator is over the champ unless the enemy is close enough to where my original cast of parry was. I've only recently been "looking over" patch notes due to the fact that Scarra goes over them, so I don't know if this interaction was covered in patch notes that occurred long ago.
