Sometimes, I want to break the meta and sometimes, I don't want to see other breaking the meta. My problem is when I do break the meta, sometimes my team wants to report me. I don't blame them. I sometimes hate when others break the meta too. Riot should make another queue that is basically EXACTLY the same as the other queues except in the new queue, people can break the meta without getting reported and the other queue people can actually get reported for breaking the meta. Sounds cool?

Reporting someone for breaking the meta isn't bannable to begin with, who cares what your team thinks, if you're just going into normals to try something out then it's fine, I do the same sort of thing from time to time, I've played Katarina Leblanc LeeSin as supports, Bard Shen as roaming champs, Sona in every role(even the season 5 jungle), Kennen ADC, AP Varus , Taric top/jungle, Gnar AP mid, Shen mid, Annie top. people might get mad if you feed a bunch of kills or neglect the duties of a certain role(i.e. not warding as support), but as long as you aren't intentionally trying to lose you aren't doing anything wrong.

You do learn things about the game by doing this that you otherwise might not, playing Sona mid I learned how to improve my 1v1 laning phase, which helps me out now that I main the role, playing Eve mid helped me get the hang of effective roaming, Riven jungle helped me improve my micro. I mean my last ranked game I played Ahri top lane, not exactly meta but it's effective vs a lot of top lane picks due to her ability to kite.
