Kayn ult is weak. I've seen kayn's ult do nearly 0 total damage. Yes 0 total damage on someone like broken mundo...
Suggestion is to buff Kayn's over all ult damage on both blue/red transformations perhaps when enemy is super low... And give blue kayn extra ult damage on top of the buff, because blue kayn is still far weaker then red kayn.

It does %maxhp damage and heals Kayn. Unless he is blue, in which case he uses it to dodge/reset cds/reset passive/just more free damage and shouldn't really use it on Mundo
It already steals health, and makes him untargetable while allowing him to follow his target for 2~ seconds, it doesnt need to also burst people.
Karamai been saying how Kayn is super weak in the current meta. Red Kayn is ok according to him. Ok but not exceptional.
Kayn's base form Ulti deals no damage, unless you know how to manage your damage with red buff. xD
Shadow Assasin and Rhaast Ulti's deal a TON of damage, just depends if you ulti a squishy as Shadow Assasin and a Bruiser/Tank/Juggernaut as Rhaast.
Kayn sucks right now. Champ just doesn't perform in this meta of Elise, Lee Sin, Ekko and Kha'Zix. Too easy to either dick on kayn or dick on his lanes since his ganks/skirmishes suck, then just take his camps so he gets 0 xp and stays out of game.
IMO they need to add good effects to the R. Like "while you are inside the enemy their incoming healing, damage from other sources and HP regen are all 0" for one of the 2 forms. And "if you stay in the enemy for more than X seconds, all your other CDs are reset". Both these are situational and if you misplay you are fucked, but if you are a kayn god you can make the most out of them.
Or maybe add a mana burn on his blue form, like 80% mana burn. We need ways to counter infinite mana pools in this game imo. there is 0 way to do it atm. And NONE seems to go oom anymore after 2 items.
His R is a cool concept but it just feels EXTREMELY low impact in many occasions.
The problem with LoL balance that bad players and incompetent devs want every ability to deal high damage.
Kayn's ult doesn't deal that much damage, because it wasn't supposed to do that. It's mostly a playmaking tool.
His ult isn't meant to burst someone, like someone else said its for playmaking/utility. It honestly does the perfect amount of damage in either form for what it does and when i jungle i main Kayn. If you force a buff on someone just cause of whiny forum posts just cause theres better BROKEN junglers at the moment, you'll just make people's favorite champion perma-banned like Ekko with how broken they become from buffs.
No more damage buffs or buffs in general. Just nerf the top tier junglers.
Blue does bonus to squishies. Red does bonus to tanks. Phreak explained it in good detail during world's this year
assassin kayn should have a execute marker or a damage amplifier based on hp. at least to match the usefulness of red kayn who currently needs 0 buffs.
Red Kayn is amazing tho?
Is basically the fighter version of Vladimir with CC and max HP damage stuck in., only time i´ve ever seen one of these do badly is when the enemy team is ahead and has enough CC to stunlock them to death.
Blue kayn? Blue Kayn is an assassin who does flat AD damage, naturally he sucks balls against anything that stacks shittons of armor let alone Mundo who also regenerates like the madman he is.
