im not talking about champs having the same abilities, im talking about every champ in this game having the exact same job in every game. Literally every champ that isnt supp or adc is just an assassin with a different animation. Fuck having every champion that is created be designed for a specific lane. What kind of garbage game design already puts champs in a position where if theyre out of that role you have to be a god in order to make it even work the slighest bit? I enjoy having my ass ripped in half by a new animation every game, it makes it fun to watch the new ways my asshole gets excavated.

play him anywhere but jg and youll get stomped if youre on the same level as your opponent.

kill something with a high burst dmg ability that can kill someone in under a second thats pretty much an assassin, not like a ninja but a guy with a gun in your face assassin.

A league of legends assassin is an actual class, which is that they can go in and kill someone and then walk out without even getting hit or getting hit little if done correctly. Good examples of this are Zed Fizz ~~ Vayne ~~ Ahri Akali . Heimerdinger 's ulted rockets take more than one second to actually end their travel time btw.

The players made the meta, not the designers. It became so predominent that the designers had to tag along.

Also it's hard to balance a champ for every lanes. Take Vi as an example: her kit is really strong as a jungler, but take her toplane, and suddenly her cooldowns are really long and Q too predictable yo make her viable.

Also nothing stops you from playing a mage or an adc top, but the team composition might suffer from lack of fighter/tank.

I agree with players making the meta,but playing a Mage or add top requires you be much much better than the person you're playing against. That's what makes it bad game design. Designing champions around doing one role and that one only inhibits the game and leaves us playing literally the exact same comp of supp, adc, fighter top, Mage mid, and jungler for the past 5 years. and it will never change unless riot can design champs with more flexible kits to give the game room to grow.

Any champion requires you to be much better than the person you're playing against. Some champions yes they don't require you to be as good since their kit is either safe or very straightforward but all that can be played around. I've won games as a mage vs down in kills and a 19/3 Akali simply because mages provide waveclear and scailing. As any other champion, you must know how to let yourself get kited, soak up damage, dodge, your role in a team...Even when to allow yourself to get kited.

Also Annie Ryze Leblanc exists.

Zed Yasuo Don't require you to be better than your opponent? Their whole kits scream "No, it's not just QWER = free kill." their whole thing is just outplay outplay outplay.
