Kog'Maw dropped to a 46% win rate after Revert

Aaaaaaye all you people trolling me with my posts about how he doesn't function well with the revert. What say you now? The champion has no good build path, low dmg, can't reach max AS, Can't exceed 50% crit without giving entirely up on defensive items entirely, and cannot reach high AD ratios, and cannot build any pen whatsoever. Kog is in a terrible state without any compensation after the revert.

People are a) also relearning how to play him, and b) Riot mentioned they were going to keep close tabs on him for a while.

Makes plenty of sense. People have to find new build paths to go with now, it's only natural people will play him badly. It's the same as any new champion having a low winrate. It'll just take some time to get used to the new W.
You're obviously very (Understandably?) butthurt, but it's not like Riot isn't going to adjust him further. Just be patient.

He's still really strong, it's just he onky does well late game, and in that case it's almost safer to just play Tristana

He's back to being a late game oriented champion, if you bothered, you'd see his winrate increases with game length. Topping off at 52%, and this number will only go higher with the next several patches, basically he's back to being Kog'Maw.

Agreed. They threw old Kog back into a heavily snowbally meta with people stacking tons of flat armor pen which means Kog is free kills early and mid. He's too risky of a pick to justify taking him for a late game that almost never is going to happen. His build path has been nerfed and for some reason they didnt change his W mana cost back to 0. So its not really even a revert because he still has a nerfed Ult and a nerfed W.

Kog'maw always had a lower end win rate, thats because he's a much harder adc to pull off. With no real peel abilities, and a very end game reliant kit, he's not your normal go to adc, he needs dedication from him and his team.

These numbers arent surprising add the fact that some new people are getting used back to old kog, it's natural his winrate took a hit.

However that doesnt mean other parts of his kit shouldn't be looked at, his ult got a massive nerf from a poke ability to a very weak finisher that has way too much cooldown on his mana gate. His abilities cost too much mana and he HAS to buy mana/regan unless he wants to back all the time. These are areas that can be looked at with current state kog'maw.

Good.

EDIT: Actually, since the last time Kog had his old kit his core item item 3078 has been changed pretty substantially. Just depends on whether it's better or worse on him now.
