Base attack speed lowered from 0.568 to 0.543
Attack Delay changed from 0.1 to 0.2
Do not tell me her passive (which does not scale with items like base AS) increasing by 5% makes up for that atrocity of a nerf.
Not to mention that increased delay means relearning to CS again.
Riot's logic seems to just be falling into a simple trap, if a champion is the current best pick, its got to get nerfs to put it in its place. Its Why a champion like
is now receiving nerfs because all the champions above her that are so overpowered in mid'lane got weak because of lethality and mastery nerfs, lost the 'excuse' for them being picked because they countered the 'standard' mid picks too much and now all thats left is anything that is a AP champion which Ahri besides her meh'ness, lets her thrive because she has barely anything that can prey on her effectively besides the typical 'Kassadin', allowing her all in power of R in the enemy's face, hit E charm and Q+W and throw up the remaining 2 Rs if necessary. She can front load alot of damage without the need of her summoner spells and if champions like
can't middle finger her with a Windwall or
can't use safe WQ poke measures and R her soon as she 'tries' to E him so he can then detonate melt her or make her waste her R too in the process to minimize the damage she takes, WELL then she gets off quite easily on getting fed and getting to the point where her damage scalings really start to pick up alongside any MR pen she grabs along the way.
Its the case of a champion that is 'always an alright pick' getting to creep up because nothing else can impede said champion from 'creeping higher' in power.
In the case with Caitlyn she had her traps and E to let her counter out any diver/all-in type champions and her long natural auto attack range lets her get off with strong pokes just like how
currently acts by mosts players of him saving his last shot to do super impact damage against an opponent, even if they are at a full health bar. Any champion who is able to deal alot of damage with a empowered auto has been always the broken type champions in the ADC spot, every single time, so why does Riot not do the obvious choice and maybe force these kind of champions that even if they 'rush' their own Q or empower auto sort of abilities first, they would not get the powerful impact showing until mid-game and nee to place measures that being able to repeatedly use said empowered autos, need to seriously be highly mana IN-efficent till midgame rolls around.

Here's a fun example of a 'combo'
can pull off if someone 'dives' towards her: Use E to 'push herself back, throw a W trap down while running, if the enemy runs straight towards you to 'finish the job' they end up hitting the trap and likely let you pull off a 2nd empowered auto right after the E net shot to counter the 'dive' towards you. If they 'change directions, that usually lets you get more distance and then you can keep throwing out a few more traps to force them to 'change directions' in the process and they might then try to use the same 'ability' to dive on you again if it wasn't say a
ultimate. Unless the enemy jungler is some hyper tankie diver like
or
, more then likely you would of deleted most of their health bar and forcing them to run away if they did not take the hint from the first empowered auto from your E 'dodge' against them jumping on you. Unless you were feeding and the enemy jungler has been fed alot. How many ADCs besides
exist atm that have 'similar' measures and are considered viable in the current state of game? Because if you said
then you just lost the game if you did not say any other particular champions who are not snowball meta strong but good in the current 'game'.
