Hey im a jg main and i have Jax m7 and im hard carrying my games with Jax, but the thing is that people ban Jax sometimes and im stuck with a super squishy jg or a tank that is dependent on others for damage, and im uninterested in playing Yi. Anyone know a good champ to recommend that has a very similar play style as Jax? I would appreciate it! <3
Xin Zhao is pretty solid preforming similarly in ganks. He has great 1v1 potential like jax with a key difference being a stronger early game into a weaker ult reliant late game. He can also solo sneak a dragon at lvl 4 with two smites and jg item which is pretty novel if you can pull it off safely. If you were to play him you would need to make sure you have a strong emphasis on getting ahead and winning fast or if yo don't think that will be possible you need to get your team ahead and focus objectives to win the late. Lastly he is good cause he is simple meaning you can do what you need to with him with little practice so you can pick him up any time jax isn't available for you. Sadly he doesn't do well into jax having to play around an enemy jax's counter strike to win skirmishes, so that's a down side if the reason you cant play jax is due to jax having already been picked.

Olaf has some good potential. He's mostly AA reliant (Like Jax) but has some strong dmg on his Q. A good gank relies on the Q connecting. His camp clear is [supposedly] good due to his passive and W (I don't personally play jg alot, and when I do I pick champs such as Kayn and Kindred). His ult gives passive resistances that you trade for dmg and a bit of movement speed when you activate it. He's a bruiser, building hybrid tank and dmg. I typically have core items as Righteous Glory(RG) and Essence Reaver(ER) (I play him top). It allows you to quickly get on your target and the bonus AS and CDR from ER when you ult just feels so damn good. Most companion apps and websites say to build Cinderhulk, RG and Black Cleaver for in the jg while running Predator for your Mastery. Hopefully this helps and you have as much fun as I do with him!
Camille has a similar play style and item build, and fits into the same role for the team. Her skill floor is a bit higher though.

Honestly, you may not like Yi, but Master Yi is the closest in play style to Jax.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Go to youtube or ANYWHERE and dop homework before just throwing yourself on a champion. Or play blind... ffs x-x
Kayn has the best ganks in the game, or you can go for rengar, which is super busted if u pop off, u literally one shot everything. Tanks, assasins, bruisers, adcs, supports. You become an unstoppable force even if u have 100 hp left. Trust me.
And if not those, then go graves. He op asf
Xin and camille would be the first that come to mind, Not sure how Irelia does in the jungle, she should clear well past lvl 3 but i can imagin her struggling a bit till then.
Xin, Red Kayn if you can deal with normal form for a bit blue is fun too though. I would recommend graves too before his nerf he isnt similar but he is freelo.

are the closest ur gonna get. both have a dash and are auto reliant, both can potentially build jax' triforce/titanic hydra build and while they're supposed to be pretty good early compared to late they're still a threat.
other than that there's trynd who can jungle but isn't amazing at it. And udyr but he's got no dash
