Control Ward Indicator
Why was the indicator for who placed the control ward removed?
It's a very convenient check so I don't have to recall, buy a control ward, then refund it back just to check if that control ward is mine.

Yeah, it's super annoying, especially if you play a lot of support.
But Rito cares about supports, lul
I thought my short term memory was bad but apparently not since this is getting upvotes.
It's not necessary short term if there's a lot of ward games going on. You place A LOT of wards in a game, and by that I mean there's more important things to keep track of in the game than whether or not that current control ward was the one you placed or the adc placed.
What's more, one of Riot's established rules is that they don't want you to have to "fight the game" and that's why they added Drag and Baron timers, etc. This is a perfect example of them making us "fight the game" unnecessarily.
Exactly.
I understand the whole making it easier thing. No need to have more to think about, but I was just stating I didn't realise people don't just remember this stuff without having to even think about it. I guess my brain just works differently? Who knows really.
ADCs place wards?

ADCs place wards?
I do,at least one per game. Better waste gold from 4 minions per ward then lose entire wave becouse bot got ganked.
turns around to yell up the stairs
"Ma! I found a unicorn!"
A warding ADC is rarer than support mains
I'm both :)
Let me guess, You started with support though, right?:D
I bet that guy only plays utility marksmen
Perhaps.... Lessons learned and all. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Do I count?
supports buy sightstones?
Made a post about this a while back. They did something similar in s6 but restored it.
the ones you place should have a small bright green checkmark over it
I just have a ward skin that I don't see many people use, so it's obvious which ones are mine.
Unless I forget I have a ward out already.
