every game I've played against a soraka they removed their q and e keys and built full tank sat behind everyone and mashed their w key on the adc the adc never died "focus soraka" ok ye sure ill go and have my whole team focus a 3k health 200 armor/mr unicorn while the rest of their team just absolutely demolishes us.

If she built full tank, then she's not healing for any significant amount in combat and she won't be able to save anything, it's that simple.

This. Soraka has downfalls with every build path. AP? Kill her, shes squish af. Tank? Kill her allies, she's barely healing for anything. Utility Support? Kill her AND her Allies, she's not doing much.

The best Soraka build is a mix of utility and AP with a Spirit Visage thrown in.

Yep one of the best base builds I found so far is. item 3092 item 2049 item 3025 item 3001 item 3065

People need to stop complaining about Soraka already. She has weaknesses that are plenty exploitable. For goodness sake there is an item that grants adcs on hit grievous wounds, and it's not like they removed Morellonomicon either.

It's like everyone else already said, tank Sorakas heals fall off. I main her and have tried all sorts of builds. The Warmogs/Spirit Visage build heals you up like your own personal fountain, but does significantly less for your allies per spell cast. Warmogs passive is also what makes this build worthwhile, and depending on how you itemize, Soraka wont hit 3,000 health till about level 15.

So yeah, pick your target depending on the situation and quit complaining.

While I agree with you that Soraka isn't really a problem, I feel like I should inform you that Grievous Wounds has been changed to only affect self-heals. Grievous Wounds will not reduce the amount Soraka heals an ally.

It will deal with Warmogs/SV Soraka however.

Not to mention AP focused Soraka is reliant on landing starcall to get back lost health to keep healing. Reducing it's effectiveness adds up.

And they nerfed her heal so hard that if you aren't bothering to land your Q's it's almost like grievous wounds is perpetually on all your allies.

W spam Soraka got nerfed harder than any other with the recent Q change.

Grievous wounds doesn't affect how much she heals her allies. And if they have a tank without sustain you have just wasted a purchase on an already underwhelming item. Also her ult isn't affected at all by grievous wounds and doesn't have a health cost if I'm not mistaking, really bad advice.

Then you get Lord Dominik's Regards against tank Raka. She's gonna have enough health to make it worth while. I've played tankier champions that have gotten shredded by it.

YCitizenSnipsY1 votes

What AD champion is even going to be landing auto attacks on Soraka after the Laning phase? I mean supposedly Grievous Wounds is what you should be going against "the right" Soraka build, but you wont ever hit her on the back line. And if you go Dominiks then her self heal isn't effected.

Dominiks counters high health builds, which is what tank Soraka (as contradictory as it seems) needs to build to get by. You need to hit 3000 health to get warmogs passive, and that means buying health items early so you don't have to wait until level 18 to hit that magic number.

Grievous wounds only affects self healing, that's why so many people have a problem with soraka and ally healing in general. It's not the old grevious wounds anymore.

I love these idiots that act like tank raka is worth a damn. If she went Tank Raka, she will most likely not even have any AP, or at most, RoA which wouldn't even let her break 200.

All Tank Raka is good against is poke since she can outheal it forever, she is weak against all in since her tiny 200-300 heals mean little even if every 2 seconds if you all in someone and deal several thousand damage in seconds.

Its literally no different than a normal game if Raka is in it, focus the ADC then go from there, Raka makes literally no difference in that equation.

"Tank" Raka is only ever good in a solo lane because she needs gold and xp to get enough health, while still having some AP. item 3027 item 3116 item 3083 item 3065
